This is a very traditional breakfast idea, many Europeans love Müsli for breakfast. Since you’ll be soaking the nuts and seeds overnight, it’s super fast and easy to make and packed with great nutrition, balanced proteins and carbs and a solid foundation to start your day.


1 portion almonds 30 grams

1 portion sunflower seeds 20 grams

1 portion fruit: you can chose any fruit from your plan, but the apple goes really well with this

a pinch cinnamon or spice of your choice


Soak the nut/seed mixture overnight in cold water. Rinse the next day right before blending
Wash, and cut the apple or use a fruit portion of your liking
Puree the nut and seed mixture in a blender or use a hand held blender, add the fruit, cinnamon and a bit of water and oil. Puree until well blended.

Note: Add as much or as little water as you like, you can make it into more of a paste or make it into a smoothie. Enjoy with your rye bread if your Metabolic Balance® personal nutrition plan allows for it. You can make two or three servings at a time, keep refrigerated for up to 3 days.
