Simple Animal Protein and Veggies

I am a big fan of keeping things simple, yet yummy and satisfying. Being a single mom and often cooking several different meals, I need simplicity to stay sane while cooking yummy and healthy meals quickly. Metabolic Balance®  gives me the energy to do just that, and while I can appreciate a more complex meal, my body really resonates more with a simple meal. Here is one idea:

Here is what you need:

1 portion chicken

1 portion vegetables or salad or a combination of both, prepared to your liking

Spices to taste

slice the chicken or other animal protein into thin medallions, so they cook faster
cook in a saucepan or grill the chicken, with herbs and spices to taste
cook, grill, sauté your veggies or make a salad with your favorite dressing
plate your food and enjoy


Note: be creative here, with your vegetables and salad options. Make your plate as colorful as possible and use sugar- and MSG free spice mixes to taste. Have your rye bread or listed starches, along with fruit, if your Metabolic Balance® personal nutrition plan allows for it.
